Startup Breakfast Club: Seed Funding, Grants and R&D Funding

Kia ora everyone, great news – we’re back with an IN-PERSON Startup Breakfast Club meet up this month! At this month’s event, we will talk about how early-stage startups in NZ can access Seed Funding, Grants and R&D Funding.

Getting access to funding is not that straightforward – especially if you’re new to the startup journey. That’s why we’ve prepared a knowledgeable line-up of speakers to guide you through this process.

First, Joris de Vocht from Callaghan Innovation will speak about what funding and support can be made available from Callaghan and Regional Business Partners Network. Then we’ll hear from Paul Claridge, Chair of Canterbury Angels, who will give you a rundown on what seed fundraising looks like for early-stage companies. Finally, we’ll hear from an early-stage startup who has been through the process themselves. Nick Jackson, CTO of Pyper Vision (previously Limpidity), will take you through the company’s fundraising journey from start to present.

This is a valuable opportunity to learn about early-stage funding alongside like-minded entrepreneurs so make sure you register and come along!

Powered by MYOB, Startup Breakfast Club is ALWAYS sold out in advance so register early to guarantee you don’t miss the opportunity.  Register by Wednesday 23 September.
