Angela Toy, Partner, Golden Gate Ventures

Angela is Partner, Portfolio Growth at Golden Gate Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in early stage internet and mobile related companies in Southeast Asia. Angela has worked in financial institutions in areas ranging from audit assurance, regulatory compliance, sales and broking before venturing to start her own e-commerce business.

The startup experience then led on to her joining Golden Gate Ventures in 2014, helping the firm set up its operations. Since 2018, Angela has worked alongside the Partners with overall management of the fund as well as funding and strategic growth initiatives of portfolio companies.
