Coffee and Jam with Grater Goods & Leaft

Join us at this Coffee & Jam event to hear from two awesome speakers who will share their knowledge and experience as Startups in the Plant Based Food Sector!

First, you’ll hear from Flip Grater, Founder of Grater Goods. Flip has been dedicated to making delicious vegan food for upwards of two decades, as well as writing about it in travel and cooking journals. Grater Goods’ kaupapa is to bring people the pleasures of fine foods and gourmet plant based deli items and to show people the breadth of plant proteins, to make delicious kai.

Next, you’ll hear from Lana Kennett, Project Assistant & Communications and Ross Milne, CEO of Leaft. Leaft Foods exists to reduce the environmental impact of food production. Founders, Maury and John, came across the idea for leaf protein at a hackathon. Experiments in their home kitchen and hours trawling through the literature on leaf protein and Rubisco validated the concept. Since launching in August 2019, Leaft Foods has tenaciously followed its purpose of creating food systems that provide for humanity in partnership with the environment.
