Coffee & Jam: Sustainability 360 and Andy Blackburn

Join us at Coffee & Jam where you will hear from Caroline Thalund about a new Sustainability Software Startup – S360. S360 is a digital platform that helps corporates grow sustainably by providing easy tracking and reporting of sustainability goals based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The idea came about during Caroline’s time working with Christchurch International Airport to increase their sustainability performance.

Next up, you will hear from Andy Blackburn, the co-founder and director of Ideas Accelerator, about innovation’s role in building a sustainable future and “finding your WOW!”. Andy is an experienced founder and innovation leader in the New Zealand startup community who has founded multiple successful startup ventures. He also runs innovation, human centred design & circular economy programmes for organisations with a strong focus on sustainability.

Caroline Thalund,
Founder of Sustainability 360Caroline Thalund is a highly experienced sustainability specialist and an innovative entrepreneur.With a background in science and communication, her passion is to make sustainability simple for everyone. Her work has varied across the property, aquaria, zoo, museum and aviation industries. Most recently she has been working in the built environment leading the charge for Cook Brothers Construction in their goal to become the most sustainable construction company in New Zealand.Caroline speak about her new startup Sustainability 360, and how it will help accelerate the sustainability journey for all businesses.
Andy Blackburn
Co-Founder & Director – Ideas Accelerator LtdAndy runs innovation, human centred design & circular economy programmes for organisations. All his client innovation work has a strong environmental & climate change solutions lense.  Previously he co-founded the NZ Innovation Awards & NZ Innovation Council. He has led innovation & new ventures at three publicly listed NZ companies: Carter Holt Harvey, Vector & Contact Energy. He has an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Waikato University. He is talking at Coffee & Jam on “Innovation’s role in Sustainability – finding your WOW”
