Come join us next month at Startup Breakfast Club where you will hear all about How to Embed Sustainability into your Startup Strategy. First, you will hear from Gareth Brooks, Group CFO & NZ COO at Eagle Protect and Caroline Thalund, Founder of Startup Sustainability 360 (S360).
Gareth found his tribe at Eagle, a business focused on food safety through the lens of people and planet for long term profit. His role is to run the NZ operation and obtain funding for the group as they grow rapidly in the US and APAC markets on their mission to save the world one glove at a time.
At this event, Gareth will present about why Eagle chose to become NZ’s first B Corp back in 2012, the benefits of this move and some ideas that might help for your business to have a more positive impact on the environment and wider community.
Next, you’ll hear from Caroline Thalund, Founder and Business Sustainability Specialist of tech startup – S360. Caroline is a highly experienced sustainability specialist and an innovative entrepreneur. With a background in science and communication and over 20 years of working in the sustainability space, her passion is to make sustainability simple for everyone.
At this event, Caroline will discuss how S360 are embedding Sustainability into their current Startup Strategy and how other founders can make a start or accelerate their sustainability journey.

Parking: There are parks across the road by Washington Skate park or out the front of the Te Ōhaka building along Moorehouse avenue. These parks can fill up very quickly in the morning. There are also parks found along Allen Street off of Madras Street along the front of the ARA building. The rest of the carparks found around this area are pay to park carparks.
Directions to Event: K Block is located in the glass building along Moorehouse Avenue – Directly across the road from Washington Skate Park. The easiest way to the event is to walk through the car park and enter the glass doors, right of the Strategy building on the corner of Moorhouse Avenue & Madras Street.
