Startup Breakfast Club: Raising Capital for Startups

When you raise capital for your startup, you get more than just financial backing. That outlay of cash comes with extensive resources, business expertise and instant growth in your network.

Join us at this October Startup Breakfast Club where we focus on Raising Capital for Startups. We have 2 awesome speakers joining us: Colin Magee, Chief Executive and cofounder of Catalist and Oliviah Theyers-Collins, Investment Manager at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE).

Colin has spent more than 20 years across the financial services industry most recently at the FMA and will share his deep knowledge of different forms of capital raising.  He will introduce the opportunities available on New Zealand’s only licensed stock exchange designed for growth businesses and discuss how you can unlock the power of tradeable securities to stimulate new avenues of investment for your business.

In her role at NZTE, Oliviah works across the South Island to provide support, connections and advice around capital raising for growth and preparing for investment. Oliviah will incorporate her previous experience working at ThincLab and Creative HQ to discuss different sources of funding available for startups in New Zealand.

This is a must-attend event so don’t miss out! Get your insights, meet your startup community, and enjoy the free-flowing coffee and breakfast nibbles.
