Te Ōhaka Startup Incubation Programme is designed to support, nurture and accelerate the growth of early-stage startups with global ambition. We work with founders who are dreaming big and moving fast.
Powered by a community of founders
You will join an entrepreneurial-rich and a well-networked community of founders with whom you can exchange ideas and receive the support you need. With more than 40 events and meetups hosted per year, there are plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in the local startup tribe.
1:1 mentorship with startup experts
Each of the startups in the programme will receive direct 1:1 support from our in-house Startup Incubation Managers. Our mentors will be your guide at every stage in the process to make sure you receive the support you need when you need it.
Investor connections
One of the key enablers of rapid growth is the potential of raising capital in order to fuel your venture’s growth. At Te Ōhaka, we can guide you through the development of your capital strategy and introduce you to the NZ investor ecosystem. Te Ōhaka is seen as a good pipeline for numerous investors including angel groups, venture capital organisations, crowdfunding platforms, and even the odd corporate fund.

How it works
- Get in touch: Tell us about your idea and product via the form below.
- Pitch to our panel: If your startup is a good fit for Te Ōhaka, we will invite you in for a short pitch. If not, please do not worry as we will direct you to the right place for you to get the support you need.
- Induction to the programme: The programme committee will evaluate your startup based on your pitch. If accepted, you will be invited to join the programme.
